One of the best south indian restaurants in delhi, not too expensive, but you need to have enough time as on weekends the waiting time will be around an hour. The service is bit slow. The worst part is house keeping ladies roaming around with big tubs to collect dirty dishes. Overall a good experience

Don't be deceived by the simple exterior and appearance of cafeteria style restaurant. IIt is so popular that we had to give our names and queue outside while being beseiged by beggars as well as local merchants hoping we would buy their calendars etc. Once inside we had guaranteed great south Indian food, best uttapam I have ever tasted, lovely lassi and fresh lime soda. To be finished with an array of sweets. Enjoy, I am missing it already!

Fantastic place that offers not only genuine S Indian food but also the genuine experience of a bustling meals house of the South. Dynamite dosas, great sambar and veg, with just the right level of high heat. I loved the fact that staff were all Tamilian. You do have to wait for a table on arrival because the place is so much in demand, but it is well organized with woman standing at the door taking names, and we had a table within 15 minutes. Also some good sweets for sale - richest mysore pak I have ever tasted. Will always come back here when visiting Delhi.

The one thing you will not forget is the taste. The consistency is simply amazing. They never get it wrong. Crowded on weekends. Recommended for family dining or a quick lunch. Convenient locations

You love enjoying South Indian Food....Saravana Bhawan at Janpath is right choice. Do not forget to taste 'Badam Halwa' a granulous almond powder deep fried in Ghee(Clarified butter) and sugar syrup based.
