Amber hotel is a very peaceful place located far from the city this place is a good option as Delhi is very noisy and crowded. Plenty of rickshaws are available to take you around. the rooms are clean and comfortable.
- Free Parking
- Breakfast included
I stayed in this hotel for two nights in new delhi. I like t a lot, the rooms are very clean and modern.
The food is really nice, we had breakfast and it was a buffet full of different options and very tasty.
The staff was very helpful, very good service, they arranged for us the day trip to agra with a private car, and a guide was waiting for us in agra.
It has a good location if you don´t want to be in the middle of the crowd, a taxi from there to the centre is very cheap.
I had been searching for a Boutique hotel to stay during my business trips in recently. After having tried out at least 5-7 of them I have finally settled down on The Amber New Delhi.A Small boutique but cozy hotel. Rooms are 5* standard and are fitted with all the modern amenities . Staff is friendly and curteous. Food is very good. Buffet breakfast was elaborate and authentic tasting,it was a mix of Indian and western type with live egg and pan cake bar.
The hotel provides taxi service 24x7 promptly and at reasonable rates. The GM Mr Mukesh a host par excellence with a keen eye for detail and who takes genuine interest to make your stay blissful .He is quite an active team leader.Praveen and Zain at Reception are friendly and helpfull. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and other travellers to stay at this place whenever they stop over at Delhi or for any business visit to this city.Well done the Amber team.
We chose this hotel because of its good position in tripadvisor. The room was quite good, clean, with air conditioning and a modern bathroom. Tasty breakfast, although could be more assorted. The staff was kind. Generally speaking a good hotel in Delhi.
The only drawback is the location, without any lively zone or restaurant close to the hotel and at least 45 minutes away from city center by rickshaw.
It is very hard to find a good value hotel in New Delhi. I have stayed here multiple times in the last two years. The Amber fills a niche, particularly for business travelers, but is good for tourists as well. The best features are: (1) Cost; (2) Location - very quiet residential area of South Delhi, ensuring a good sleep; (3) Comfortable and clean rooms with good internet at no extra cost; (4) Very good room service with tasty Indian food; (5) Pleasant and service oriented staff. The only change I would make would be a serious upgrade to the gym, which is very weak (especially the treadmill).
good hotel, good rooms.
hotel staff, ok.
too far from local attractions.
very bad location.
food are good but breakfast need improvement, every day same breakfast.
it is totally unknown to rickshaw and taxi drivers.
