We had great service at the Hotel Florence, particularly from the Front Desk staff. Our room was nicely appointed and the bathroom was very luxurious. We also enjoyed the breakfast, although the space was a bit cramped. Our problem, however, was that the hotel is designed in such a way that we could hear everything from our room--every door closing, voices from all floors, the phone ringing at the front desk, snoring from the room next to us. (Note: we also brought earplugs which were, for us, a must in India). We asked to move but were told that we have one of the quietest rooms in the hotel. The end result was that we got very little sleep in our two nights there. We decided not to stay there on our return to Delhi (we also found that Karol Bagh was not a particularly convenient location, although we enjoyed the experience of walking through Ajmal Khan market at night).
