We call this place dead frog beach. 10 years ago when we went there, is was just jungle and beach. A very beautiful place to hike to. On my last visit, we found a resort deveopment has destroyed the jungle and now a beach full of people and dirt roads and litter. The view is still beautiful from the beach but the feeling of a remote secret beach is gone. Go there to see the beauty, but don't support the company that destroyed my memories!!

I don't know what all of the hype is about Red Frog Beach. Yeah, it has pretty water and nice sand but so do a lot of other places. It is a hot 10 minute hike (with little directions) to get to the beach from the pier. You have to pay $5 to rent a chair from a guy if you want to sit on something other than sand. The restaurant there has beer and food.

Red Frog and Turtle Beach are amazing!!! You can walk the beach for miles...white sand, clear water, few people! To get off the beaten path, go to your right and start exploring!

We caught the Jampan 7 dollar return shuttle from bocas town. There is another 3 dollar fee to get into the beach. The place has 2 bars/cafes and a place with sunbeds and umbrellas but you can also take a little picnic and lie under the shade of the trees. Sea was beautiful, and sand was soft and fine. Hope it stays that way and does not get threatened by development.

We arrived to red frog beach as part of a daily boat trip, this beach is on the ocean side of bocas (not in the lagona side) so it got more waves. The water are turquoise color. We stoped for a bear in the beach bar.
