Scott and the crew run a very special place that won't disappoint anyone looking for a full-on surf trip, to a romantic getaway ! This unique and beautiful place imbedded in beautiful tropical jungle on the paradise island of Bastimentos is only reachable by a 15 minute boat ride from Bocas town. It's well worth the trip !! This place is the very definition of 'un-plugged', Scott and his crew can't do enough to make sure you are...thank you guys for an awesome time and finding us some unforgettable waves ! I'll be back and soon ... Nick

My wife and two sons (ages 20 & 17) spent a wonderful week at Red Frog Bugalows with Scott, Ryan, Matt and the rest of the Red Frog Bungalows staff. We all had a great time and reluctantly left with a lot of great memories. The place has a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of activities (surfing, zip line, hiking, exploring the islands, etc.) if you are so inclined. We were so inclined and there was never a dull moment. On the other hand, Red Frog Beach is beautiful and a great place to just lay out, nap and work on a tan if that is your thing.

This is a casual friendly place that is nicely remote. Nothing stiff or pretentious here, just some super nice and attentive people with great attitudes. The bungalows themselves were simple, clean and comfortable and the cook, Nadie, did a terrific job keeping us stuffed.

Red Frog Bugalows is nice and small with just two bugalows and a tentalow so there is a real family feel among the guests and staff. For us the night life was a low key time to connect; however, I heard that there are plenty of partying opportunities a water taxi ride away. We choose to stay close.

If you want to get away and have a sense of comfortable adventure. The Red Frog Bugalows are perfect. We'll be back.

If you're looking for a destination that combines relaxation, fun and adventure with awesome jungle, elegant bungalows, delicious food and delightful staff, then this is the place for you!
I can't speak highly enough about what a memorable holiday was to be had. To Scott who coerced me (nicely) into adventure that pushed me out of my comfort zone but into another, I say thanks.
Go with the flow, you'll be glad you did!

Just came back from an incredible week with Scott and crew who bent over backward to show me, wife, and 4 kids an insane time. Scott is fully surf-stoked 100% of the time which means you will be on it first, better, and longer than anyone else in Bocas. Guides: great. Food: great. Accommodations: great. Price: great. For surfing family or solo traveler, an excellent option.

We met at Red Frog as it was half-way for all of us (Brazil, Whistler, BC and Toronto) and offered surfing which three of us wanted to try. In addition this was truly an eco-friendly resort which caters to surfers. Small (only two Bali-built three-storey bungalows (sleeps four) and a tent-platform, family-friendly with home cooked meals. Lots of side trips available that are worth trying. As it is on an island, night life is limited (water taxi trip) or you can walk to hostel next door (10 minutes through jungle).
