Don't be surprised to see the bartender from your hostel, the tour group you were next to on the beach, and that random guy from your hometown you met earlier in the day all there! It's a great place where locals and vacationers a like go out for a good time. Young and old, Caribbean, hispanic, white, whatever. Everyone is there! The music starts off with popular american and european dance music, EDM, rap, hip hop, house stuff, then moves into reggae and roots music, then into bachata and merengue! Theres something (and someone) for everyone. Great vibe, decent drink prices, and an amazing dock that goes out into the water. They have spot lights in the water underneath the dock, and sometimes people will go for a swim if they are getting too steamy on the dance floor! Plenty of dock space for a more meaningful conversation as well. The music is LOUD so you can't miss this spot. Lots of local food mini truck vendors at the exit if you're get hungry. They did run out of water one night I was there, which for my friend who doesn't drink was annoying. But, since I'm the one reviewing, not her, I'm not counting that against them. :)
