Description: OM Cafe, established in 2002 offers authentic Indian cuisine in our new location over the water with a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean and with the only retractable roof in Bocas! You can also sit on our street side terrace to watch to people watch. We have an amazing selection of Indian classics such as Samosas, butter chicken, vindaloo, naan and more. We have recently added some international specialties on our menu like our famous pad Thai and our creme de la creme chicken. We offer the traditional yogurt drink called lassi and we also have an array of fantastic cocktails like our Twisted Madame, our Lotus Flower white wine sangria made with rose water. The decor, the ambiance and the location and of course the food will ensure a wonderful dining experience. The owner was born in India and raised in Toronto, Canada and has been I Bocas for over 14 years.

“Great indian curry.”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

Wow, great Indian Restaurant right in Bocas del Toro......... We decided to go on the night that they had a 'Belly Dancer', who was wonderful. The place smells so good whilst you are on the street, so by the time you get in the restaurant and get a table you are starving....LOL. They have a good range of food on offer, vegetarian too. We opted for a dish that gave you two different curries, dahl, rice, naan bread, popaddoms and ratia. Very good, and authentic and reasonably priced. The drinks were also reasonably priced. Would definately go again and would definately recommend to friends.

“Very Happy with the veggie Thali!!!”
Reviewed January 3, 2012

The restaurant is upstairs on a balcony. Service with a smile which we did not see a lot at all in Panama. Food came fairly quick and the Thali with Chana Masala and Palak Panneer was tasty. The price was very reasonable in my opinion. After quite some Traveling it was very nice to eat good Indian food.

“OMGoodness Good”
Reviewed December 23, 2011

The only place like this in Bocas town. The food is authentic and tasty and although not a huge menu, plenty to try your taste buds out on. Creative drink menu as well and the home made yogurt smoothie is a must have!

“Indian Food and Atmosphere Abound”
Reviewed December 21, 2011

Another must if you are in to Indian Cuisine. Upstairs dining affords a nice view of Bocas Town. The menu offers a modest but complete Indian presentation. Vegetarian is available, but this writer went for Vindaloo con Pollo, and it was some of the nicest and hottest vindaloo I've had (which really makes me happy).

Not the cheapest, but who cares. The service was wonderful, with no hurry. The beer was cold and crisp and went well with the pappadam and chutney.

Open for breakfast and dinner.

“Om Cafe in Bocas Town”
Reviewed December 15, 2011

Food was good. Not much atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. Being able to order your entree (chicken, shrimp, etc.), then choose your sauce from a nice selection (mild to spicey) was very nice.
