We had a great day sailing with Marcel. We saw many fish and coral life that we have and will never see anywhere else. The group is a small size which was wonderful as we all had a chance to hear about the different areas we visited as we sailed along. Besides the many fish we also saw dolphins and eagle rays. Lunch was included, hand made and delicious and we also had our fair share of beer or pop. I highly recommend Bocas Sailing.

This was by far the best tour in Bocas. We paid $35 a person (regular tour we got for 18/pp).

We had Hadmut as a captain and he was funny and informative. This tour had the best snorkeling was the most relaxing as you were not being pounded by the waves.

They supplied a delicious sandwich and a free drink (your choice of beer/water/soda)

And as we're finishing up our second snorkeling stop they provided fresh pineapple and a fresh water shower.

We thought the price was a bit high but definitely worth every penny.

...but if you do, they have some extra on the boat.

This is the only true "eco" anything we found in Bocas. But that's almost beside the point of it. The bottom line is that sailing is the best way to experience any tropical country, bar none. Who wants a stinky, smokey, grumbly engine driving them around all day anyway - two-stroke or not?
Sailing is the most relaxing way to get about and appreciate the place you're in. Sit back, chat with some of your fellow passengers and enjoy the day!
To top it all off, the guy doing the sailing is actually extremely nice and still passionate about his gig after 12 years doing it - something very rare. He even speaks German, Spanish and English.
Truly, if you take any other tour, you're missing out big time IMHO. And hey, it's only $40!!

This is by far the best day in Bocas and Panama. Snorkling was unsurpassed. Starfish galore, jellyfish, dolphins, sardine ball with tuna runnning them. Great Captain and marvelous companions on the boat. It was a beautiful day with nice winds. Try it, the price is cheap for what you get. And you get a lunch and snack as well.

The boat leaves from town, you watch as little Bocas disappears and you are surrounded by blue water and breathtaking views. Music plays, you walk to the back of the boat ask the captain if you can have a drink. ´´Help yourself!´´ He says. So you do, and then return to the bow of the boat and snuggle in to one of the two nets and watch the world float by. The sails go up. Off you go headed towards mainland. Through a small opening in a mangrove and on to Dolphin Bay. Dolphins, if they are there that day, will flock to the Movida. What an amazing experience. I have seen them come right up and scratch their backs on the hull!!! When everyone has had enough dolphins you sail out of the reef and drop anchor next to a small mangrove island. Hop in the ocean and coral, fish, and marine life abound. Kick your fins and enjoy the sights..when you hop back on the boat lunch is ready. A delicious sub sandwich to enjoy with old or new friends in the sunshine. Maybe crack open a Panama beer and wash down your lunch. Anchor up and on to the next snorkel spot. Splash around in the water, when you are up on the boat there is ..pineapple!! Yum! Anchor up and back to town. Sigh. I want to go right now.
A great ride, friendly captain, INCREDIBLE scenery, nice music, good vibes... what more could you ask for. By far in my top 5 things to do in Bocas.
