September is low season on the Bocas Islands. The weather is still beautiful and beaches and towns are quiet and peaceful without many tourists. Arriving at our house after a fun flight over the country of Panama and a 15min boat ride into the late evenning dawn, felt like arriving in our own paradise. We were picked up from airport and stopped at supermarket to buy food and drinks for us. Important: buy water since the water in the villa is salty and not good for making juice or coffee. It need to be clear that this is not a hotel villa with full service. Therefore rating can be not directly compared with a hotel rating and is done in comparision with other rental villas. The provided service is a boat ride to town at 9am and 6pm. Also round trips to one of the other islands and caribbean beaches are offered. Cooking and cleaning need to be done by guests and you have all freedom to feel like in your own private villa. The villas are all equiped and setup the same way and are very spacious. They are ideally for two people, but additional person could stay on mattress or sofa. Dependend on season and the moskito situation sleeping outside on the deck might be also very tempting.
