Spent 6 nights here in late January....and just had the best time.

Fantastic cabins- so lovely to have so much space after living out of a case for the rest of our trip! Short (cheap) taxi or short walk into town. Cabins right on the water with everything you could need within them.

Great hosts, so helpful and loved loved loved the breakfasts with added banter!

Go on give yourself a treat and stay here- you won't regret it!

Louise

Room Tip: We stayed in the cabins as we wanted lots of space but the rooms are equally well-done...

We had a great stay at the Koko resort. Jack and Lee manage the Koko resort lodges from their adjacent B&B Bahia del Sol which is next door where Jack hosts his excellent breakfasts each morning - having read so much about the breakfast on trip advisor before arriving I can only confirm what everyone else has said, they are that good.
The lodges themselves are small houses are over the water, they are clean, tidy, spacious, fully functional, with great views, a hammock and chairs on the porch to watch the sun set, but they are not high end luxurious lodgings as I've seen the expectations of some reviews on here, nor are they expected to be or present themselves as.
Koko is a little out of town, about 15mins walk or 5mins in a taxi which Jack and Lee are always happy to arrange, and the taxi trips are never no more than a dollar. We never had any problem with the location which is mixed in with residential, so gave us an insight in to how the locals live.

We were three people who stayed four nights at a water front cabin at Koko's. We were picked up from the airport by Jack, who gave us a lot of information and who also arranged a nice transportation from Bocas to Boquete. The cabins are spacious, and has a full equipped kitchen. The cabins are located about 15 min walk from the town, which for me was quite noisy unless you wanted to party. It is sooo quiet and calm at Koko, which for me was perfect since then I could seek out the party scene when wanted.

Jack and Lee really open up their home, and each morning they served and excellent breakfast which is included in the price.

It is somewhat pricey to stay at Koko, but absolutely worth it!!! Highly recommend this place, and would love to come back!

Room Tip: Recommend Star Cabin as it is farthest out into the ocean

Only spent one night there but the accomodations were still very nice. The owners made you feel at home and our cabin was spacious and clean. Next time, I will try to stay longer! My only complaint is that the area neighboring the property was underdeveloped and kind of dirty.

We had a great time at Koko resort. As many of the other reviews have stated the owners are great. Jack is quite the character! Breakfast everyday is delicious - cooked fresh and always something different. The website FAQ is apt - don't come here if you're expecting Sandals Resort. Saigon Bay is just close enough to town that you can take a nice walk (15 minutes) or a .60 cent/pp cab ride. By the way, if anyone tells you the bike ride to La Gruta/Bocas del drago is flat, IT'S NOT. It's 11 km of steep hills.
