“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Hands down the best meal we had Bocas and probably Panama. 6 courses for $23. Slightly strange combinations of courses: gazpacho, prawn croquete, hummus, etc But excellent service and each course was a real treat

“Excellent”

Best place to eat in Bocas!!! International Gourmet food. seven course meal at a VERY REASONABLE price. Service is outstanding, very simple atmosphere, no need to dress up. Qine bottles are reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend it

“A delicious Bocas del Toro treat!”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

A group of five or six of us made reservations at Guari Guari 24 hours in advance and we didn't seem to have any issues getting a table. Since we were staying on the opposite end of the island (and didn't feel like walking in the humidity) we took a quick five minute cab ride from the Tropical Suites and boy, we were in for a treat! We had a three hour meal and for October (non-busy season on the island) it was a fairly quiet dining room.

I heard about this place from the New York Times and their reviews did not disappoint. We were greeted by the owner (tall German? guy) and his partner was the chef who was preparing our delicious meal. We ordered pitcher after pitcher of sangria and each course was more delicious than the last! Be sure to wear (or bring) insect repellent because they were out in droves and since most seating is outside, there's little relief. Also, the owner called us a cab, so we were able to return home safely with a full, satisfied belly!

“Great service & food!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

My coworkers had eaten here several times, but this was my first time. The service is really good, it's run by a husband and wife team and he attentive, polite, and a gracious host and she is a wonderful cook. It's a set meal, which changes night to night. We were able to make a reservation, but I think this place books up so call before you go out there. If you're a vegetarian you can tell them ahead of time and they'll plan you an appropriate meal (how's that for service?!) My favorite of the dishes we were served was their gazpacho, and I usually don't like gazpacho, but this was creamy and so flavorful (vs tasting like you're eating salsa). Their sangria is really good here too, and you can get it by the pitcher.

“5 STAR DINING EXPERIENCE”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

I would highly recommend that the minute you decide you will travel to Bocas--> book your reservation at that time, well in advance. I would have eaten here nightly as the menu changes day to day. We would not have had the opportunity to dine at this great restaurant had it not been for Muhammed Parvez at our condo! He was able to get us a table even though the restaurant was sold out for the remainder of the year. The food was great!! Very deserving of the 5 STARS.
