A friendly welcome with true Sri Lankan coffee. Huge rooms that are traditionally decorated with very unusual front door. Room was clean with a fridge which was great for freezing water for
the long days sightseeing. The location is perfect for all the attractions in the cultural triangle as
they are very spread out (far better than moving from place to place)Having arrived by local
bus we were unsure how to visist them all but a short walk down the laneway we met a great
tuk tuk driver who ended up being our tour guide for the three days at a great price.Because of
the isolation you have to have all your meals at the resort but the amazing buffett breakfast
was enough to keep you going all day while visiting the attractions. At night there was a choice of
buffet or normal menu. the food was great.Lying by the pool of an afternoon was so relaxing and the staff couldnt do enough for you we didnt want to leave.
