We spent two nights at the hotel and liked it very much. The view from the one pool is very nice, pool area offers great relaxation. The room was spacious and nicely furnished, with a big comfy bed and modern big bathroom. The premises itself are beautiful with many different plants and you can also see animals. Breakfast was good with enough choices. You can also have lunch and dinner at the hotel for good prices. What we did not like so much: service at the restaurant is very slow, we waited very long for drinks and simple dishes. WiFi is reaaalllyyyy slow. And it seems that somewhere near the hotel there is a temple - the very loud singing woke us up each morning at around 4:30 or 5am, which is not so nice when on holidays.

What a wonderful resort! Lovely, large sized rooms. (105) Spent really good two nights in Kassapa lion’s rock with my girlfriend. Staff were very friendly and most of staff learnt our names in the couple of days we stayed. Dulanta in reception was very thoughtful and he do have really good area knowledge as well. It was fast and clean check in by him, which is every guest wishing to have after a long time travel. (My girlfriend loved that mixed fruit welcome juice) The breakfast buffet was Unbeatable with a huge range of quality food. Waiter at the breakfast table was really funny and friendly. Our Rooms were well kept, cleaning done properly and the bath areas were well cleaned. Comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the Swimming Pool after a hot day in sigiriya. Garden was Calm and lots of peacocks walking around which made it magical.It's nice to see everyone saying "ayubawn" to us even gardners who working there. Good Wifi connection in the hotel front. We would definitely recommend the Kassapa lion’s rock resort as a great place to come to relax and enjoy yourself.
