Even though from the jetty point it seems like an interesting idea of a temple situated on an island, the best of this attraction remains the boat ride (15 mins, costs Lankan Rs 30 ) and the approach to the temple itself. Once there, the temple has little to offer to the visitors, even though it may be religiously significant to the pious.
The best view is the conical staggered roof of the temple from the arrival walkway or from the main land, but the temple itself is "just another temple".. too colorful and gaudy!
Men have to remove their shirt when entering this temple.
