Was desperate as had been let down at night so stayed at the first hotel we came across. Hotel was dark dingy and disgusting. Definitely not worth the money we paid £30 with no breakfast.
Could not wait to get out there in the morning.
Did not feel safe, old dirty bedding and thread bear brown dirty towels.
Flies all over the place.

Room tip: Dont bother wasting your money

Nice and quiet in the evening. Away from the noisy bars. Friendly staff and delicious buffet breakfast, also the rottis at the front restaurant are amazing.
Nice pool if you want to get off the beach also. Lovely stay.

Small place right on the beach. Don’t look for luxury here. Location is the plus. Right next to the corals where you can see many colourful fish and the large turtles that you can feed. Staff is warm and friendly. Book directly, you can find them on google. For fellow Indians, this might be a better option than Goa.

This place is almost to good for it's pricetag! The hotel is worn and needs a bigger touch up but service, location and breakfast is great! In the heart of Hikkaduwa with restaurants, souvenier shops and supermarket around the corner. The staff helped us to check train schedules and even though check out was at 12 we were allowed to use the pool area until our train departed at 4 pm.
There is a breakfast buffé with toast, jam, pancakes, fruit and some local food and they also prepare eggs, juice and coffe/Tea on order.
If we ever come to Hikkaduwa again, this is where we will stay!

Rooms are cleaned every day! Place has great ocean view terrace, possibility of having breakfast and you can leave your clothes for cleaning. Villa's stuff is very pleasant and willing to help and organise whatever you need. Close, you have money exchange office, big supermarket, massage salons and small local places to try some original local food.
