The turtle hatchery was interesting in that you were able to pick up the turtles so that you could be photographed with them and the owner provided some really interesting facts about turtles and conservation efforts. I also do somewhat agree with some of the criticisms that the tanks seemed small and the owner was doing a good job of trying to get more money out of tourists after you paid the admission to get in. Theres a sign asking for donations for other costs and you can also pay to buy and release a baby turtle into the ocean. I'm hoping the money is going to the purpose stated and there is a lot of good being done here. All that being said I do feel it's at least worth a visit.
