I stayed here for 2 nights and had no problems finding the place as the owner, Kumara, picked me up from the bus stop in his tuk-tuk.
The place is owned by a young family and are relatively new to the business and as such are eager to please and although they are still learning have an enthusiasm to making sure your stay is a good one.
Kumara's wife cooked me up a couple of tasty dinners of noodles one day and fried rice the next. although the breakfasts were fairly basic, they were no different to most similar guest houses.
Kumara had recently bought a mini-van and took me on a trip to Sigiriya and Polannaruwa. He was a knowledgable and patient driver and guide and provided some good extra information about each location.
I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a value for money place to stay to look around the region.

Hi Everybody,

My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights in this charming 2 rooms guesthouse a little bit out of the city but located close to the Cave Temples which can easily be reached by foot. The owner is friendly and will help you to arrange transportation (Tuktuk, buses) in order to visit the cultural triangle. The food is good with a tasty Rice & Cury and a lovely breakfast although it is a little bit more expensive than it is in other guesthouses.

Kind Regards,

Tip:Don't forget to bring a light with you at night if you go out in the city since there is none in the streets ( pathways) surrounding the guesthouse.

I'd just arrived on the bus from Kandy when i was approached by Priyantha and i'm glad i was as this place turned out to be a gem.
It's situated a little ways out of town which is a good thing, it's so quiet the only noise you'll hear is that of birds, monkeys and geckos.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable not to mention cheap at 2000/night.
The hospitality shown by Kumara, Kusum and the rest of the family was amazing, they really make you feel at home.
Nothing's too much trouble, they bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need.
And finally the food, as with everything else - fantastic!!!
I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's stopping by in Dambulla.
10/10!!!
