We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip in Sri Lanka and visited the cultural triangle. From all the different places we stayed in Sri Lanka, the service was the best here. The staff is really nice and try to fulfill every wish. The location is absolutly wunderful and very quit. The food was good, ask for the Sri Lankan rice and curry as this is not on the English menue. Nuwan, the manager also organized an airport transfer and a very nice driver with whom we stayed for the rest of our trip.

We, a group of 14 picked MPS as our destination on a one-night-out.
Rooms, food, activities, especially the hospitality of Mr.Pradeep,Manager and the team was outstanding.
If ur thinking of Dambulla, peace of mind ,fun and realiability of service… this is the place.

Small resort, 8 bungalows and central building. The very friendly staff is doing everything to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast and diner were excellent. The swimming pool was enlightened, so the children could also swim in the late evening. From MPS village we visited Polonaruwa, Sigirya, Dambulla.

We stayed there 3 nights and had a very good time.
The hotel is remote, about 10 minutes by tuk tuk from dambulla, but worth it !
The last+ km of road is going to be redone, it's currently in very bad shape.
The hotel is made of 6 roomy bungalows facing a nice lake, beyond a nice green lawn with flowers and trees, Lots of birds and birds songs.
No other noise except the morning monk prayers nearby...
The cleanliness is at guest house standards, say 'ok', not less, not more.
The A/C was welcomed.
.The staff was nice, just as the manager who lent us his 3G key to hook our laptop to the internet. Very convenient in this remote place.
The food was excellent for some dishes (i.e. vg curry), and no good for another dish. Altogether, quite alright since we took all diners there.
The swimming pool was about 15m long, a bit cold yet ok to cool down.Slippery on the sides, beware !
From there, we visited ancient sites around. Sirigiya is the top one, really a must !!!!!
we had a tuk tuk driver, a nice man, for all visits, very convenient since he kmows where to go and stop. we can recommend him, just bargain a little bit up front : 0779689850. he also own a guest house close to downtown Dambulla.
While there, i took an ayurvedic massage at Saman's, a 'local' experience, a story on its own....

Me and my husband travel alot and this was one of th emost relaxing, and pampering experiences ever. The hotel staff made us feel like family. The views and atmosphere was so serene and dreamy I've never been more at ease and free of any back home worries. I highly recommend you stay here if you want to be treated like a V.I.P and need want to forget the real world. THe only negative part is having to say goodbye :(
