First know that hotel Rinanov is more of a hotel than a B & B as listed in Trio Advisor. It is connected to hotel Azimut (a hotel) and shares common areas, restaurant and amenities.

Hotel Romanov is the value priced accommodation and hotel Azimut is more. We were quite pleased with the cleanliness, location and service based on the room pricing.

We didn't expect to be on the beach at this price (and they don't have a private beach) and there is a walk down a street and down some steps. But we didn't mind at all. In order to rent the good/large white umbrellas in the north en of the public beach, we went down at 9 am and had no problem. But during high season I could see needing to go down early.

We did have issues with wifi, electrical plug not working in our bathroom, tv not working (we didn't care) and the AC not cooling the room very well at night (we did care!)

The room we were in seemed to have been renovated in a simple modern clean style much more appealing than the photos I saw in their website (Lots of red, pillows, garish accessories with a Russian feel).

The restaurant is very over priced. Don't bother. The staff couldn't be nicer. You get what you pay for.

Where to begin. The TV didn't work. The internet only worked half the time. The electrical sockets didn't work in the bathroom, so there was no way to shave or dry your hair with a mirror. One of the mirrors was broken. The room had a funny smell and the chairs were dirty. The light switches only worked for the bathroom and the entry way, so we had to fumble around with the lamps in the dark to turn on any lights. Because we had to reach around in the dark, I accidentally knocked over and broke a glass, which the hotel tried to overcharge us for at the end. Unfortunately they will not refund you for THEIR things and services that are already broken...

The food at the restaurant was decent, but overpriced. Don't order cocktails because you wont get what you ordered.

Unlike what other reviewers said, there is not actually a private beach. You must walk down a few streets to the public one.

Sure the view is nice, but it's better just to drive by and find somewhere else to stay.

Me and my wife arrived in budva after driving from dubrovnik, we booked this hotel last minute. We arrived only 15 minutes after booking and they were very efficiently up to date and ready for our arrival. After checking us in and showing us to our room I was very impressed with the rooms, they were very spacious and very clean. One thing I must insist on if you are going to get a room, get a sea view as the rooms look onto one of the most iconic parts of montenegro, it make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up........Absoulutely beautiful.

This hotel has a perfect little beach, indoor pool, sauna and steam room not to mention a gym and a beauty area with range of treatments. We were only there for 2 nights and one night we ate in the restaurant one of those nights, the menu was a bit upmarket for us but food was very good and i could not fault the service from the staff, they went out there way at every turn to make sure we were as comfortable as possible.

All in all i would recommend this place to anyone, i have stayed in many 4 star hotels and some them dont deserve there 4star recognition but this one definately deserves it and more. Sveti stefan isnt the liveliest of places, it is quiet but it was perfect for us and i hope to visit again soon.

Room Tip: Get a seaview, you can thank me afterwards!!!

The 2 biggest assets of this hotel are the viewsover Svetif Stefan from the room and the breakfast terrasse, and of course the free of charge private beach, which is very rare in Svetif Stefan.
Rooms are large and clean, design is acceptable, nothing more, but one wants to spend as much time outdoors, jogging along the coast or simply chilling at the beach. Breakfast is ok although the pop music from the 1990's clearly targets the Russian clientele.

TIPS:

Advertise your private beach, it's such a great asset, only the Amman palace and the brother hotel, the Azimut, has that !

Have your waiter offer drinks, while at the beach. Push your business.

We booked the hotel for our New Year Journey and it was definitively a good decision. The rooms are nice, bathroom as well and when checking in, definitively ask for sea view- 'cause it is simply great-the Island of St. Stefan looks like a pearl in the sea from there.
Old the staff was very kind from our first contact onwards. We had lots of questions regarding sightseeing and they were so kind to give us a present- tour guide (book) of Montenegro. The lady on the reception was also kind to check the clubbing scene during the days that we were staying there and on the first day of New Year we were late for breakfast (it was like 13,30) and when we asked if we can buy some sandwich the waiter returned with a bag of sandwiches and fruits that he gave us for free.
We also enjoyed the spa center- sauna and jacuzzi were great, only the pool was a bit too cold and there were not enough towels in the spa center but I am sure that we would get them if we bothered to ask for extra.
Although we usually used our car to got to the city, we once also called a taxi from the reception and it cost app. 10 Eur to Budva City, really ok.
I would definitively recommend this hotel.

This hotel offers a nice cozy rooms, great view from balcony, and that is the most of it. I have been there in low season on a business trip and it was nice. I have no complaint, since I can adapt to almost any situation, so in that way this hotel is nice and I could recommend for your stay.

Another last minute booking. The service is polite, but not welcoming. The onsite facilities such as pool and jacuzzi were freezing cold (indoors). The breakfast was the worst we'd experienced on our trip. We stayed for one night and moved to the main centre of Budva - which is the place to stay for a bit more of soul and heartbeat.
