We stayed just up the waterfront from here and only spotted it on the second day. Had a great breakfast here and continued to eat here throughout the week for breakfast and lunch. (Used the posher venues in Perast for evening meals) We found the food and the service to be of quite a high standard considering the ratio of staff to customers. a comprehensive range of beers from around Europe could be enjoyed, but we found the local brews to be every bit as good, if not better than their euro contemparies. (they were also a lot cheaper as they were not subject to import duty). It seemed that all the locals drank here and that made for vibrant atmosphere and once we got to know them, very relaxing.

Over all a cracking place to enjoy the views, the sun, the storms and the locals. We were made to feel very welcome, so much so that by the end of the week we knew all the staff, most of the locals and became aquainted with a lot of folk who passed through. A Montenegran home from home. Loved Cafe Armonia!!

Situated along the front near to the water taxis, the Armonia serves good value food with a smile and all the staff speak good English. We met a few 'local's who despite having limited English managed to make us welcome, undoubtedly helped by the tuti fruiti local brandy!

The owner even arranged for a 'local' to drive us back to our appartment in the next village during a torrential thunderstorm.

Our hotel recommended this place + we had read the reviews on TripAdvisor, and the food was great and service terrific. It's so nice to sit on their patio looking out at the water while you have drinks and/or dinner...We did both and enjoyed both. The waiters were very helpful and really tried to offer and deliver a good experience. I would definitely eat here again!

Lunch after our walk from Risan along the coast to Perast was always something to look forward to.

Reading some of the reviews on a range of places to eat in Perast we settled on this cafe, restaurant for our lunch.

Right on the water but a bit below street level gives the feeling of being enclosed by the court yard where we sat. The grape vines were loaded with grapes, the sun shining and the water of Kotor Bay looked beautiful.

With that as a background the meal and service was already off to a good start. Lunch time was "early" at 11.15am which must have been our body clocks and being 8 hours out from Sydney time.

A couple of bottles of European beer to start, followed by a bottle of local Rose set the scene.
Seafood Risotto, Greek Salad & Char Grilled Squid with fantastic local greens the main meal.

All this with bread on demand and a 1.1 litre bottle of sparkling water set us back a total of 40 euro's.

Service was friendly and English spoken by our serving waiter. We are so pleased we walked past the restaurants that are attached to 4 and 5 star hotels and ate at this place!

The menu is large enough to eat there for many consecutive days and always have a different selection.

Don't miss this restaurant when you are in the neighbourhood!
