Amazing views and a very sweet and attentive staff. We had a wonderful four days and enjoyed the room and location immensely. The complimentary breakfast was great but the only reason we didn't give the five stars is the lunch/dinner could have been a little better but all in all will definitely recommend this to anyone heading to perast.

We had the most wonderful relaxing holiday at the Hotel Per Astra. The views from our room terrace and from the restaurant terrace were very impressive - so peaceful and yet with constant movement of boats of all sizes from small Canadian canoes to 5 masted schooners and ocean going cruisers. All the staff couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel part of the hotel family. The food was excellent if on the generous side.

Room Tip: There are 2 rooms with a superb terrace overlooking the the Verige strait, the narrowest part of the...

A beautiful hotel with exceptional views from the pool over the Bay of Kotor and the rooftops of Perast.

Quiet and relaxing, great food, very helpful and friendly staff who clearly want you to have a great experience.

More expensive than anywhere we stayed in Montenegro but for our wedding anniversary as well as our final night in the country it was well worth it and we would love to go back

Room Tip: We stayed in the junior suite with garden view. Not the most expensive, mainly because it doesn'...

Good:
- excellent service (my wife had a birthday, I asked the staff to decorate the room, they did not even take money for it and they gifted a free wine for us as a surprise)
- rooms look newly renovated and in a very good condition

Not for you:
- if you are looking for parties
- if you are looking for amazing beach (go to Plavi Horizonti then near Radovici, which is close to Tivat)

Best for you:
- to spend a couple of calm days with an amazing view and service (like Maldives but without a beach, but small pool and a great magnificent view)

Stayed on the third floor in an Executive suite which was really lovely, very large living room with sofa and dining table and huge flat screen TV, large separate bedroom also with huge TV and massive very comfortable bed. Large bathroom which had a large glass window where you could see into the bedroom....quite strange! The hotel is set overlooking the bay and the views from our room were to die for absolutely fantastic. The garden and small sunbathing/breakfast terrace is really pretty with lovely views across the bay and this side of the hotel is literally set amongst the local's houses but very nice and really cultural. The pool is very small and there are 8 sun loungers which only have a sitting position...not very suitable! However as comfortable as our suite was now the downsides:! The bathroom had its faults, the bidet leaked although we never used it, the toilet seat was loose, there was no happy medium with the shower it was either too hot or too cold and the towels were a joke, very thin and not bath size. The worst thing about this hotel is the breakfast regime! I literally couldn't stand it! The previous night the staff gave a breakfast list to choose your breakfast for the next day, This I didn't like as you don't always know what you would like for breakfast the night before.! This wasn't compulsory to complete but they did prefer it, twice I did complete and twice I didn't but either way it made no difference as the service was terrible. Every morning we sat at least 15/20 mins before we even got a drink let alone any food, one day we sat half an hour!! I am not a big breakfast eater and to sit for this length of time waiting for tea and cornflakes (minus the milk! I didn't tick the milk, silly me to presume it would automatically come with cornflakes yeh dry cornflakes are very nice!!) and toast is disgraceful. You had to tick every single thing butter margarine bread jam! yogurt, you got what you were given, there was no flavour choice. My husband had omelette most days and I had finished well before his had even arrived. You didn't always get the tea you asked for and that was a chore in itself to get it changed! There was only ever one waiter serving breakfast and whoever was on reception also helped but Per Astra is a tiny hotel how can they not provide a better breakfast service or have a buffet breakfast as in most hotels. I found this to be totally ridiculous and dreaded breakfast every morning thankfully we were only there 4 days don't think I could've stood this regime any longer without blowing my top!! The female staff in the hotel were lovely can't stay the same for the male staff. Perast is tiny with a few restaurants, (did even find an Irish bar "Dubliner" tucked away just opened so very new only tiny but lovely little bar) very quiet and picturesque but lovely if you want peace. A car is a must for getting about, nearest larger place is Kotor which is about 20 minutes drive, and Budva even larger just under an hour away. I loved the location and the views but Hotel Per Astra needs to change its breakfast regime, maintain its bathrooms and provide better towels! I would not stay here again unless these things improved it literally spoiled the hotel along with some of the male attitudes.

My wife and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite which has a great view over the bay.

The service from the staff was outstanding. The food at the restaurant was good and there is a very nice swimming pool facility.

We would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and very spacious. The bed was heavenly and very nice.
The pool was clean and good to swim in. The surroundings are very beautifull. Good place to stay for a few day's!
