“Worth a visit”

Great views over the city, loved the library with its chesterfield chairs and fine collection of historical books. Worth the 2 euro fee for the view alone!

“Worth 2 euros for the view”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

We found the citadel after wandering around the old town and decided to pay to get in as there was very little else to do. The building was in good condition and the views from the top were stunning. For the small price its well worth a visit.

“Interesting”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

You get a wonderful view of the bay from the Citadel but there isn't much else to see. It's a shame that more care isn't taken with monuments such as these with an air conditioner stuck into one of the medieval walls!

While the walled city of Budva itself is interesting, it's a shame it's full of shops selling much the same tourist goods. It would be good to see more local handicrafts and arts for sale but no doubt this is due to the rent in the area.

Overall, it's worth a quick visit.

“A beautiful view”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

The castle is not very big, but there on the top opens a good view as on the bay as on the city. You can make really good photos there.
