After nearly 3 weeks in the Philippines it was nice to finally have a hot shower!! Now I know usually aircon is a must but remember this place is in the mountains so it is cooler than usual and a fan was adequate to remain comfortable. We stayed here rather than in Sagada because the rooms where significantly cheaper. Bontoc has more hustle and bustle than Sagada but that also means more choices on where to eat, sleep and shop.
The food at their restaurant was adequate, but if you have the time and energy look elsewhere for a good meal (the food was ok, but the wait staff was slow and distracted).
