Owner description: Get a hearty dose of Peru’s history and archaeology at this excellent museum that houses textiles, ceramics, mummies and artwork. The museum was named for the woman famous for studying the mysterious Nasca Lines of Peru.

I love learning all aspects of something so the Nazca lines were no different. To learn about Maria Reiche was brilliant. The museum is in great condition and kept beautifully. It also shows all that is to be shown on the topic of her life.

It is a nice museum with some information on Maria and the lines. We only did it as part of a tour and probably wouldn´t have gone otherwise. There is an interesting mummy with tattoos to see.

Not worth the hassle of getting out there from Nasca itself! Poor museum with little of interest inside. Terrible English translations of the already scant Spanish explanations. Creepy recreation of maria reich's living quarters and no real info on here theories about the lines.
