We stayed two nights in late April and for some reason it was off-season and the hotel had few guests, so we had very personal service especially in the dining room. The dinners were extremely GOURMET....way beyond our expectations. Breakfast was nice with very good freshly cooked omelettes etc. Alex at the front desk helped arrange a fabulous private guide for the ruins (Guido) and he's highly recommended! The setting on the river with the peak in front is simply breathtaking. Watching and listening to the rapids is amazing. The rooms are large with fireplace, sitting area (our room had a jacuzzi tub) and the bed was extra comfortable.
If we had one minor complaint it's that part of the road from the village to the hotel is dirt (or is it just broken?) and not a comfortable walking experience, but that's not the hotels fault.More
