Great base for MP

Stayed here after doing MP. Aguas Calientes is fairly compact so everything is within an easy walk to this hotel. They offer free pick up from train station and welcome drinks. The gentleman who picked us up went above and beyond. We booked a triple, river room but was upgraded to one with a jacuzzi. Room was very nice, on the quiet side, with great shower/bath feature. Staff was courteous and pleasant. Their recommended MP guide, Wagner was excellent and knowledgeable! We didn’t get to try their breakfast as we had a 0530 train to catch. Will stay here again in a heartbeat!

Regarding breakfast missing, It is better if we, mutually, coordinate to box breakfast in advance. The reception team can coordinate one night before, they will be happy to do so.

Beautiful place with great service

At check in we were given a comfortable table to sit at, warm hand wash cloths, a delicious fruit drink, and lots of gracious welcomes. The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the jungle and river. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The included breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide selection. At check out we were given little gifts, offered to keep our suitcase there and/or use their restrooms until we caught our train.

Great overnight and Aguas Calientes

Typically a Marriott - Starwood frequent guest,however they offered no options in Aguas Calientes. In looking around at the options, based on the reviews and description - we settled on Casa del Sol and had no regrets. Our room was comfortable, we loved hearing the river, and the food in the restaurant was very good. We would recommend this property and stay again.

Room tip: Choose a room on the river side

Great service, Great location

We cannot say enough about the people and service of this hotel. Jorge, Gustavo and Alfredo and the rest of the staff made sure that our happiness was a priority. Being met at the train station by Gustavo he helped us with our luggage on the short trip to the hotel. We upgraded to a 3 bed, river side suite on the 5th floor (room 503). Minor inconvenience was the lighting in the room was dark. Spacious and clean w a hot tub! We slept both nights w the window open so we could listen to the river sounds. Alfredo was attentative to our needs at a fabulous breakfast each morning. Short walk to the busses to MP., markets and restaurants.

Room tip: Read a lot of negative reviews about train side of hotel but being on riverside we never really heard them.

Great Service!!!

They went out of their way to give us a great experience! I highly recommend this wonderful place! They were very attentive to our needs and checked in with us, asking if we needed anything, at every encounter.
