We stopped by after our long day at Machu Picchu and had a delicious croque monsieur sandwich and some warm beverages. The place is comfortable and we had a great pause after a lot of exertion. Service was perfunctory but we were not looking for much more than this at a cafe. The quality of the product is what mattered and the Boulangerie is a great option for good pastry, french breads and sandwiches in Aguas Calientes.

Although the service wasn't the best, the food was good (the desserts were amazing!) and cheap. We came here for lunch/snacks twice while in MP town. The first time, it took about 5 minutes to get our food (everything is pre-made and just needs to be heated.) The second time, they forgot about the food for about 20 minutes until we reminded them that we had not received it (she had forgotten it in the microwave.) Despite this, we really enjoyed it, especially the fresh baked breads and desserts!

We were visiting Machu Picchu in early February, my husband found this place on TripAdvisor and I am glad he did. The owner, Gilles and his wife are very lovely and the service is excellent – he treated us like a favorite uncle would treat his niece and nephew and made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely amazing – fresh, tasty and very reasonable. He sat down and had a brief chat with us which was very nice. We stayed in town for 24 hours and we went there three times, we liked it so much. I would highly recommend it to anyone. They work very hard, open long hours and their food is great. Thank you Gilles!

Every restaurant in agua calientes seems the same as the next, doing Mexican, pizzas etc etc. It was a relief to find this place that not only did great little snacks and cakes but was also reasonably priced, something agua calientes seems to struggle with.
Definitely recommend

Peru has no idea about bread, nor coffee so this place is a dream after. The sandwiches are also nice, fresh, unlike some other places in town where sandwiches sit for days on end and are still sold!
