The lunch menu was a bit limited (3 choices per course?) but the food was really good - tasted great, well presented, attentive waiters. I don't think the wine was good enough (and i hate that more and more south american wines are opting for screw caps, it was not special). But we were enjoying the view of the river and the good food whilst we kill time before our train arrives.
We were there from 12 and after finishing desserts and still finishing off our wine at 13:50 and were still thinking of ordering tea, the bill arrived without us asking for it. It wasn't busy anymore, we weren't informed of a time limit nor if the restaurant closes at 2. It was rude and totally spoiled the almost perfect lunch. So come if you're only after a quick meal. If you intend to linger, better find somewhere else.

We stopped by here for lunch right before our train departed back to Cusco as the location was conveniently located approximately 5 mins from the train station. Immediately we liked the restaurant...it felt so secluded from the tackiness that parts of Aguas Calientes is.

The restaurant was lovely, had a beautiful setting over the river and it was clean & the level of service really stood out. I had the quinoa crusted chicken breast and it was tasty and just the right amount of food. Warm breads were also brought to the table to enjoy as well.

After a long day, or just to start up your day. Both breackfast and Dinner are served with the niceties we are accostumed to have in a place which overlooks a river, at the bottom of a cliff.

My husband and I ate here for lunch and it was included in our trip, but I would have chosen it anyhow, if I knew. The restaurant is breathtaking. The service was fast and great and the food was perfectly portioned, very tasty, and creatively presented. I couldn't stop staring out the windows at the view once we got into the dining area. This place is definitely worth it, and it is a little walk from the main market, so it is quiet and seems hidden.

After finishing the classic Inca trail and the tour in Machupicchu we went to Aguas calientes town to have our lunch at the cafe inkaterra.

We had a menu with appetizers, main courses and desserts. as soon as possible we ordered and just 10 minutes later we were lunching. The food was great and the service and hospitality of the personnel that work there too.

Facilities like the toilets were so clean and big enough to feel comfortable. In addition to the liquid soap that you can find at the toilets they have citronella essence to apply to your hands and feel even more fresh.
