We stayed in the hostel for only one night but it was great. The beds are comfortabel, theres hot showers and the owner even said that we can come back and take a shower before leaving Aguas Calientes. Breakfast is also very good. Great place before going to MP

It was hard to make a booking for the group because they took long or stopped answering messages on Facebook or through email. When we arrived with our group of 20 they were not very welcoming. Even though we sent all details digital and had copies of the passports, everybody had to write down the same thing in their book. With still all twenty waiting in the entrance area we were asked 'if we wanted to pay now or..'. So we suggested to show everybody to their room first. Other than that they were helpful arranging a guide for Machu Picchu and after checking out we could still use the sanitary facilities and hang out. Restaurant has great food and great staff.

i was originally only going to spend one night in Aguas Calientes but decided to extended my stay at Supertramp after the staff told me about all the other things you could do around town apart from just the Machu Pichu ruins, from putukusi mountain which is free to enter, to Mandor waterfalls.
Would recommend anyone traveling here to stay more than one night.

It is a good hostel and a great place to stay. However the rooms are very large (8 to 12) and there aren't many sanitary facilities. It is also the case that the sanitary facilities are centered in one point. The first night we went to the restaurant that is located in the hostel and it didn't run very smooth. We had to wait almost an hour before we got the pizza/hamburger. However the second evening was much better and they apologized for the first evening. Overall, great place but with some minor issues.

Very loud and filled with young noisy drunk kids. Not a place for any adult to stay if they want to get a good nights rest. This is animal house and frat party mixed in one. Stay elsewhere if youre over the age of 25. This is coming from someone w

You are sure to enjoy your stay here! The staff is beyond welcoming and knowledgable. The food is delicious and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We would have spent more time here if we had it! Sebastian was wonderful.

We were disappointed after arriving at Supertramp to find out that our reservation was somehow inexplicably cancelled. The reservation was made through hostelworld.com after several emails to the hostel itself were left unanswered and a deposit for the room was made by credit card. There was no (double) room available when we arrived and the receptionist couldn't even find our reservation at first then later found the email and explained that it had been cancelled. However, she did call Ecopackers for us to find about availability there and fortunately they had a room for us. She also returned the amount of the deposit to me in cash. Not sure whose fault the cancellation was but at least the situation worked out okay.
