The location was decent. A little far off from the main area. I did not like how photocopies of passports of other occupants were strewn about the desk for all to see when we arrived. Nice staff. They are located right near the train. So it goes without saying that there is traffic noise, yet it stops at a good time for sleeping. The room was large with a small bathroom. It was decently clean. Breakfast was good and complementary.

it was a bit hard to find. but good location in terms of peru rail and the market. all hotels in Aguas Calientes are really expensive so we settled for somewhere basic. when we got there, there were photocopies of passports strewn across the reception desk for all to see - so got a bit scared. door locks don't look too secure. we got a good room at the top floor with views of the river. it was clean enough, except for the moldy ceilings in the bathroom and some cobwebs. windows fog up if they remain closed. curtains not covering all windows, but we were pretty high up, so hopefully nobody was looking in. no heater, but we weren't too cold. they can also store your luggage should you need that.

Room Tip: choose rooms at the top floor for less noise and better views.

Great hostal for an overnight stay in Aguas Calientes; like a hotel. Worth the extra money. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Located right near the train station and a short walk to most bars and restaurants across the river. Had pretty nice views of the mountains and river across the hostal. Continental breakfast in the morning was very good. Highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Hostal is right beside the train station, so slightly noise during trains operating hours. However...

Good option for a hostel/hotel in Aguas Calientes that isn't insanely overpriced. We paid about $38 for a triple room for one evening. Really clean room and bathroom. Amazing hot water pressure... never got cold or shut off once.

The BEST part about this hotel is that you can buy your entry tickets into Machu Picchu in advance online. This guarantees you entrance and avoids being unable to purchase. It is also very close to the bus station to purchase your bus tickets for the morning. Even though Aguas Calientes is very small and everything is close-by, it's nice to have the station and restaurants within the same area.

The services were excellent... staff were great even when it was super busy with everyone checking in in the morning. Very pleased and good wifi.

We been there last week and our final report have to be approval per many of things in front other places during our trip to Perú; specially per Machu Picchu our main destination.
Overall service, location, views, room, staff was fine. They have as helpful possible staff whom gave us as much information per additional activities around; finally our time was very short and suggest to another travelers, be good to stay more than one night there.
Our room has a basket of fruit, good location on building, nice view to big mountain in front, river as chocolate color, some rustic restaurant from main hotel located next to Green Nature. Our breakfast was served with some local products as banana, avocado and others. GOOD
Also we kept our small luggage for free until to pick up return train. Of course, nothing to talk about machu picchu, everyone says: is a amazing wonder world; you have to go there.

Room Tip: Request a superior room, these could be more expensive.

Lets face it, everything in Aguas Callientes is way overpriced. This hotel was a good option for people not wanting to spend over 200 per night on a hotel. Rooms were clean with WIFI and comfy beds. Its a close walk to the centre of town, located right next to the train station so the rooms are noisy until about 10 pm with trains coming and going. Really quiet during the night though. Only complaint we really had was the smell of fumes from the train but that just comes with the territory of staying next door to the tracks.
