Great hotel located near railway station to the front and backing to the river views. Right near where bus leaves for MP. Rooms are very comfortable. Crisp white linen. Amazing bathrooms with Spa. Shirley the lady at reception is wonderful and is so helpful even filled spa for us. Close to restaurants, you are right in the heart of it all.

Room tip: Get a room at back of hotel to enjoy river view.

My husband and I recently stayed here for 2 nights while we visited Machu Picchu. Beautiful views with a river view room. Hotel has great staff, is right in the center of the city and the Jacuzzi tub was most welcomed after a full day of hiking. I would recommend to anyone traveling to Aguas Calientes!

Room tip: Ask for a river view room, otherwise you might be overlooking train tracks (and the noise)

We had an extremely comfortable stay here. We checked in when our train arrived and spent the afternoon in our room, enjoying the cable TV and the wonderful jacuzzi tub. There isn't a huge amount to do in the town, so it's great to have a really comfortable room to stay in. The tub is perfectly sized for two people, they provide bubbles and candle as well - it's very relaxing, as is the river flowing outside the room. The bed was enormous and so comfortable. The hotel is also perfectly placed for the buses to Machu Picchu - they're about a 2 minute walk and they start breakfast from 5am, so you can have a quick bite to eat before jumping in line for the buses.

The hotel will also keep bags for you while you're at Machu Picchu, which is great for leaving anything you don't want to carry around with you all day. And they are happy for you to come back after your trek to use the lounge and Internet, while waiting for your train departure.

Really nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff and a very comfortable stay.

Room tip: River view rooms are lovely

What an incredible hotel...the lady at reception was so welcoming and sweet and we were given the best room on the top floor at the back of the hotel, overlooking the river and with a balcony. The beds were comfortable and the room decorated in a lovely traditional style - with a fireplace! We were lucky to have very hot weather but have no doubt that if it had been raining this would have been a very welcoming sight to return to after a day on Machu Picchu.
The bathroom was amazing - a huge walk-in shower with instant hot water (not always a given in Peru) and very clean and modern, which was all overshadowed by the massive jacuzzi...
A beautiful hotel, very centrally located with easy access to the train station, buses to Machu Picchu and all the town has to offer. Can't wait to stay here again.

Room tip: Top floor rooms overlooking the river are the best - only one has a balcony so ask for that

Not value for money

Moldy smell welcomes you to an old run down reception. Friendly staff.
The room was nice and clean, large spa and shower. Comfortable bed and pillows. Magnificent views, mountain and river from the small balcony.

No wifi available in the room only at the reception area.

The breakfast was not good, lots of flies and moldy smell.
The only great point is the view of the river.

Not recommend. Don't compromise.
