That outdoor staircase might pose a problem for some ( we braved it while it was raining too ). Intriguing menu. Each course was beautifully plated. The passion fruit salad dressing was uniquely marvelous, as was the soup, vegetable ravioli, fish, and the decadent chocolate bar cake with the chocolate spiderweb fan.

This place has excellent food, beautiful decor, friendly staff and it is well worth the steep climb up the stairs. An absolute gem of a restaurant that is sure to be a pleaser. It's on our top 5 during an eleven day stay in Peru. Awesome!

This was the best restaurant I went. The food was creative and delicious. The staff was extremely polite. I would definitely go a second, third, fourth time ...

Our Intrepid tour leader brought us to The Tree House. The space itself has a lovely warm ambience and was nicely decorated. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. A little expensive but worth it for the quality. Make the effort to find this place!

After seeing the rave reviews on TA I made sure my husband and I made it Tree House during our short stay. As other reviewers have noted its very easy to miss the entrance to the alley of stairs that lead up to the restaurant--we walked past it at least three times before we figured it out. We came for lunch after arriving on a morning train and the restaurant was totally empty when we arrived, but not surprising since most people were probably up at MP. If you want creative, more upscale food Tree House is one of the few restaurants in AC that can deliver. We both had beers, but the wine list looked quite extensive. We got the thai style chicken and a chicken quinoa risotto-both were great. We had a great experience and would recommend Tree House.
