Got together for the birthday celebrations of a friend. Ambience, quality of food and service was excellent. This place is a little expensive compared to other indian hotels. Recommended..

“Recommended Meals In This Restaurant”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

This is a follow up to my earlier review on this restaurant. If it is going to be your first experience with Indian cuisine, you may find it daunting deciding what to experiment with when the menu is handed to you. I have, therefore, taken time to make a recommendation of a three-course meal to further enhance your experience:

Starter
Try the Fish or Chicken Tikka eaten along with Chilly Garlic Nan. The Nan is actually a flat bread baked somewhat dry and tastes great.

Main Meal
Two sauces i enjoy are the Tava Chicken and Vegetable Makhanwala served with plain Basmati rice. They also have other options of Basmati rice that you may want to try out along with various other sauces. Of course having some additional Nan bread to go with the main meal will not be a bad idea. This time you may want to try out the Butter Nan. You will have options of various types of drinks - alcoholic or non-alcoholic, to help the food make a smooth and jolly travel down the right direction!

Dessert
The sizzling brownies with ice cream and hot chocolate is my favourite. You will not regret this. It comes on a hot plate (actually sizzling!) while the ice cream sits atop the brownie. Quite yummy indeed.

I hope this helps you get started and you can actually go ahead and give yourself and your friends an Indian treat for a change!

“Authentic Indian food, good value”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

First of all: The restaurant has attentive staff and the food is very good (I had the handi gosht). For Lagos, the prices of the food are ok.
