Went to Il Sorriso with 3 people after hearing good things about it (on a Thursday night at around 7.30pm).
First odd sign: no other customers in the whole restaurant for the entire evening...
Food: Decent starters, abysmally bad pizza (definitely the worst I've in a long time so far), other main course really nothing special; menu is suspiciously long (NEVER a good sign for any restaurant)
Prices: outrageous prices (e.g. 3000 NGN for a small plate of steamed veggies)
Service: entire restaurant full of staff, no other guests, but very slow service during the meal, took 25min to get the bill
Conclusion 1: If you want good Italian food in Lagos, go to Manuela's, that's where the Italians eat.
Conclusion 2: I have no idea who could possibly rate this colossal failure higher than 2 out of 5. Do yourself a favor, save your money, your time and your evenings and stay away!
