Owner description: Ojo de Agua is a Natural Spring swimming hole where you can swim and relax in clear, pure, medicinal and healthy fresh water of volcanic origin. This is a place to enjoy the environment surrounded by Nature with lots of birds, butterflies, squirrels, iguanas, and many trees all around. While you are here you can also have meals, cocktails or just coconut water, and you can have a banana tour or ride a horse. Welcome.

Nice springs to take a dip in, but nothing too special compared to other springs throughout Central America. With all that Ometepe has to offer, not sure this would top my list, but its worth a visit if passing by and looking for something to do.

We cycled here all the way from Moyogalpa (2.5 hours with loads of breaks) and it was really worth the ride.
The pools are kept clean and the water is cristal-clear. The water us about 180cm deep at its lowest point, and swimming in it was really good fun. There are two pools, one largerthan the other, but both are fed with the same water.
There are a lot of chairs spread around the pools so everyone can sit comfortably.
The toilet facilities are good as well.

Overall. worth visiting!

Beautiful and refreshing water pools, all natural and mineral water from the volcano. We enjoyed this place very much.

You have to visit, amazing place, very relaxing. You can even get the local bus to drop you off, so no need for expensive tours. Entrance fee is $3 per person and really worth it, 2 pools with really cool and refreshing water. Get there early to avoid others, we arrived about 10am and had the place to ourselves. The restaurant is overpriced and you can't take your own food or drink so eat first and enjoy!

Ojo de Agua is a very pretty swimming area with a bar/restaurant on site. I would avoid using the changing rooms, if possible, as they were not particularly clean and were full of mosquito. Otherwise, I would recommend a visit - it is definitely worth it.
