We booked 3 single rooms in this "hotel" and confirmed by email. On the day of arrival we called in the morning to re-conform our stay. We arrived at 17:30h and asked if someone could help us carry the luggage up to the hotel. "NO" was the answer of the Moroccan lady of the house. And "we have no 3 rooms free... only 1 room". Later the French owner, an arrogant man, came and said that we did not reserve the rooms because we should have paid a deposit. He never mentioned that in the emails and also he said nothing about that when i had him on the phone that morning. Unpleasant couple.
What must have happened... in the afternoon a larger group than us arrived and they let them have our rooms. With double occupation per room they chose to earn more that with us 3 in single rooms.
Thereby: i took a peek in one of the rooms... €60 pp is way too expensive for a bed this old building..

Patrick Simon and his kind wife have offered Us an unforgivable new year's eve. A dinner together with friends of them, me, my girlfriend and my BMW rider partner. Of course we paid, we were guest of the hotel, but the atmosphere, the kindness and the courtesy attention the paid has no price.

We were riding through deserts and huge stone ways down. Getting to dar infiane was the adequate prize to our great effort. If you are going around down there, you cannot miss that place.

We had a phone reservation at this Dar. To reach the house we had to climb at least 30 steps with some of them higher than one foot. I could not be standing in one the the proposed room and I am only 6 feet 2. When we asked for a price rebate we were brushed aside. It goes without saying that this unfriendly place is not worth 100 $ per person per night. We finally found a very nice Moroccan place at 30 $ per room.

Really had a great time here. It is a real special place and beautifully restored. If you look for something authentic on a beautiful spot but prefer European standards in the heat of the dessert you should definitely spend one or two nights at Dar Infiane.

I was stunned to see some bad coments about this place; my opinion is different. Stayed there 1 night on a motorbike trip last September. The place was almost empty. A closed room was offered to park the bikes during the night. Definitely an upmarket choice in Tata, it´s a delightful kasbah which has been restored using local knowledge and craftmanship. Inside, there´s maze of small, spotless rooms, with air conditioned, and full of color. It has its own small interior pool. Not suited for handicaped people as it has a lot of stairs. The view from the terrasse, where you can have breakfast, is outstanding. Food was nice, but there was not much choice as we got there past 22h.
The owner might seem a bit cocky, but maybe it´s just that french attitude. Anyway, he was polite, and he´s a smart fellow. Price was around 130 euros including wine at dinner. I don´t find that expensive considering the quality you get. Would like to come back some day.
