The place is fantastic, rooms are confortable and nicely arranged. Breakfast on the terrace with the desert view is a must! The riad organizes desert trip and the owner is ready to assist you in any need. The Riad is easily reachabe by car, no 4x4 needed.
Keep in mind that Merzouga is just a small village so if you need anything (pharmacy etc.) you need to go to the nearest town about 20-25 minutes by car.
It's definitely the place to go if you want to have a confortable stay for your desert trip.

Having traveled the long distance from Marrakech to Merzouga in one day to see the famous Sahara dunes, we were very tired on arrival. Our host, Abraham, was especially kind from check-in, to unexpectedly guiding us around the dunes at sunset, to providing our delicious dinner. He was on duty the next morning as well making sure we were taken care of for breakfast and on our way with another fine memory of the friendly Moroccan (and especially the proud Berber) people. This small, humble hotel will remain in our memories for years to come because of the caring attitude demonstrated by this young man who, as we understand it, is a son working in the family business. The room worked just fine; it was clean and the shower was adequate with plenty of hot water. While we have stayed in many 5-star hotels, Riad Aicha is 5-star in our memory banks! The room charge was 30 euro (cash), which made us wonder what we might be getting into. No worries, what a value!

We are so delighted that you were able to experience the true Berber hospitality. We realize even in our small village you have a choice for where you spend the night and your vacation experience. Our goal is to make each guest feel like a five star tourist. Finding our room charge reasonable to be a surprise is one of many surprises people find in our beautiful home of the Saraha Dunes. Please come back and bring more friends to join you with our hospitality possibilities. We are proud of our Family Business. We aim to be responsible business owners.

Most people tend to go to Merzouga, but just before Merzouga you can find this lovely village, cleaner and less touristic than Merzouga. The place to stay is Riad Aicha, run by a berber family, Ibrahim and Said are running this cosy riad, named after their beautiful mother Aicha. You will feel soon part of the family, Ibrahim and Said are very willing to help you with any question you might have. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, on the roof terrace you have a beautiful view at the magical dunes and the village and in front of the riad there is a small terrace too, just sit there, have a tea and watch the village life passing by...relax.
Good food and if you are lucky you will have your last breakfast in the kitchen with them, just like family...

I went through three days and two nights Arabian Nights.

Hassan camel Draw will take the travelers to the back of the Erugushebi.

Ultimate world of sand does not exist at all of artifacts, heals every corner weary soul in our daily busy life even 360-degree views.

There is a world of BC spread over the course of two days and one night can not be absolutely experience, the traveler is entering the stage of enlightenment to forget us.

And are located in the big city, his appearance remains true that there have forgotten too soon.
World of silence that follows the footsteps of the camel and you step on the sand, endlessly not only hear the sound of the wind.
There is a world of the ultimate earth exactly.

Expansion of the universe and the stars overwhelming example of what seems like falling of corny.
We will see you spend under the stars for hours and spread a blanket on the sand dunes of darkness.
Will feel the breath of the earth as divine.

I did not do anything, I did not think anything, spilled tears come naturally impressed.

Say their presence disappear, but it is soon to become integrated with the universe.

Room Tip: Every room is good.

This is a very nice and comfortable Riad on the edge of the desert close to Merzouga. Said welcomed us with tea on the roof terrace, which has a view on the desert. The family cooked us a delicious tajine at night. The next day Said showed us the village and sand dunes. The Riad also organises desert tours. We took the tour on the dromedaris and stayed in the nomad tent camp overnight. A great experience! This Riad is highly recommandable!
