New, hotel on the edge of the desert...staff was very attuned to our comfort...pool, good food...spacious room. There was a lovely patio out back by the pool - very relaxing atmosphere. We left from here to go to the desert camp, to go hear desert music, and to go look at fossils - all convenient.

It’s a beautiful Riad but I hope they work on the hot water system. I had trouble getting consistent flow of hot water when I stayed. But other than that minor issue it was great! Excellent service. I would recommend it to friends and families.

We booked a camel ride and night in the desert through Azawad. Since it was December it was cold (30f at night) and the desert accommodations kept us as toasty as possible.
We started with a sunset camel ride over the dunes to the camp. Guides were helpful and attentive. We arrived in the dark where we were greeted in a warm central tent with hot tea. Our tent was large and the bed was huge. We also had a sink, shower and toilet in our tent. We thought there would be heat in the tent but there was not so it was cold in there but we were warm in the bed. We were provided with a nice dinner and a campfire with songs as well as star gazing.
In the morning we could chose to ride camels out or go in a car. We chose to ride and got the full experience. (About a 1 hour ride each way).
The owner was very attentive and wants to make sure everyone is happy in all aspects of the experience. I’d highly recommend. Although we didn’t stay in the road it seemed very nice.
