We had seen the positive reviews on tripadvisor and decided to go here. We were greeted very friendly by a lady from corsica and lived here now with (we assumed) her husband, which in any case was the chef. Then she told us that one of the restaurant staff spoke dutch. we met him and unfortunately i dont remember his name but he was simply one of the greatest people we ever met. he showed us the restaurant, which had been beautifully renovated and decorated with pictures made by a local artist and by the chef. we talked a bit about life in marocco etc and after about one hour we got served the first course. this was the salade composee (which had just been freshly made), with tomatoes, cheese, pulpo (squid) and mustard dressing and this was simply delicious!! It was worth the long wait. Oh my it was good. then we had fish soup with croutons and rouille, so full of taste...and last spaghetti with seafood (can't remember the name) which was Ok but not as good as the first two dishes. then our friend started to play the piano accompanied by a spanish guy on the guitar. they did a beautiful version of Hasta siempre commandante, a Cuban song about Che Guevara. i strongly strongly advise everyone who visits larache to meet these super nice people.
