“Wonderful stay”

We had the perfect stay here. The staff were pleasant, friendly and gave us advice for our further travels in Morocco. The room was lovely and they provided a beautiful wooden cot for our 2 year old daughter. The decor of the hotel is Moroccan and they have done it beautifully. The rooms had air-con as did the communal areas. The eating area was big, though at times full (arrive early for breakfast), you can also eat outside. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Self serve coffee, tea, hot water, milk. They bring breads, spreads, juice, olives & cheese. The location is perfect, just outside the medina and a quick walk in. You can also quickly walk up to the Spanish Mosque for good views of the town. The pool was the highlight for us. A good size for relaxing (not doing laps) it has a deep end and a shallow kids area with stone islands dividing the two parts. There are sun loungers, chairs, tables and a covered shaded area.
The whole place is peaceful, relaxing and was an amazing start to our trip. It was the best place we stayed in during our 2.5 weeks. I highly recommend this place!

We stayed here 2 nights as part of our tour and loved it. We were in one of the chalets that had two bedrooms, which we shared with another couple. We had a little lounge room with tv, fridge, etc. The other couple on our tour stayed in the other part of the hotel which was just a room, but it was lovely as well. The pool was great and there is a massage therapist that comes to the hotel most afternoons which I took advantage of...I think it was about 200 dirhams for an hour. We also went up to the deck area which are above the chalets to watch the sunset as we had a few drinks and nibblies before dinner. The town itself had a really nice feel to it and you can go for a hike up the mountain if you're feeling energetic. The chalet bedrooms themselves are fairly small, but that's why you have the lounge area. The only negative was probably the bathroom size...very small and sometimes slightly smelly. Would highly recommend!

Room Tip: If you're more than just one couple go for the chalet...lots of space and you're own private...

Exceptional service from all the Staff. Especially the restaurant staff.
The food was excellent, our first taste of Moroccan food. The dining room was superb and beautifully decorated.
A very good site for discovering the wonderful city.

A few problems. The first room we had the ceiling of the shower leaked all through the bathroom. The second room the TV didnt work and the toilet itself was not anchored properly to the floor with the result that the sewage smell was dreadful.
No safe in the room so we handed our valuables to the reception asking them to be put into the hotel safe,. The staff member did not tell us there was no safe but took all our documents, money etc back to his house! In the morning we had to wait 30 minutes until these could be found. Very very upsetting considering passports, money and credit cards where there!

One other review mentioned dogs barking....yes I agree, not good for sleeping.

Room Tip: Make sure you dont ask for goods to be put into reception safe! Hopefully they may have one now. Ask...

My boyfriend is Moroccan and I am American so trying to get a hotel room in this town without a marriage license was exhausting and frustrating. Finally we found this place, which has a beautiful view of the town, lovely gardens, a relaxed atmosphere and nice staff. It was clean and comfy, all around a good experience.

Highly recommended - perfect location, very clean, gorgeous views, amazing pool, English speaking staff, divine food at their restaurant - very well priced and tasty. We had lunch at the hotel and paid 40 dh for a sandwich and 50 dh for a hamburger - after eating our way through Morocco we decided on some non Moroccan food for the day. Their tagine a were also delicious. We had a great time here!

The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. The rooms are peaceful and comfortable and the pool area is stunning! Such a relaxing environment. The only tip I'd have is to make wifi available in guest bedrooms and not just the main area. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I was booked to stay at this amazing hotel during our Moroccan tour. The previous hotels had been pretty basic and so was not expecting much. However from the moment we stepped through the stunning blue doors I was simply overwhelmed with this hotel. The main reception area is open and brightly decorated with truly beautiful Moroccan cushions, rugs and curtains. It looked really inviting and I just wanted to sink into the soft cushioned divans, order a Moroccan mint tea and finally relax. After the bustle of cities like Casablanca and Fez it felt as if we had arrived in paradise. The staff are extremely professional and accommodating. Nothing seems a problem when you ask for directions or assistance. Our room turned out to be a suite which consisted of a large roomy lounge area opening onto a balcony. The bedroom was very large with a modern and again roomy ensure. The linen was clean white and crisp. There is a large pool area with lots of chairs and sun bathing lounges. PLUS there is a lady masseuse on site whose rates are extremely reasonable. All in all a really delightful place to stay in. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel if you are coming to this town. Oops forgot to mention the breakfast. They serve fresh (yes really fresh) orange juice and so many yummy breads and spreads. Incredible.
