We stayed for 3 nights and although at first sight you would think the location is far outside town, it is not: there's a shortcut from the road going into town.

It takes a 10 minute walk by a nice cascade and straight into the small and beautiful little streets of this great town.

Service is 4 star (personnel speaks French, Spanish and English). The rooms are very clean and the food served at the inn is also good value for money (better than in some restaurants in town).

We had the room above the kitchen, maybe to avoid if you have the choice but still very good. They are building small bungalows which could be fun for the kids.

The bigger rooms have a fireplace but all have airco for heating (needed in March) or cooling during the summer months. I guess the small swimming pool would be a nice refresher during the summer as well.

Overall a very nice place to stay and we will definitely stay here again.

Being it was my first visit to Morocco I was eager to find somewhere that had the western standards that i am used to and the riad dar echchaoeun did not disappoint. For health reasons I need to follow a very strict diet and when the staff were told about this they could not do enough to make sure everything was ok. The hotel itself is absolutely fabulous with great views, great rooms and charming staff. I booked the trip though luxury-riads.com who not only answered by questions about Morocco and the riad dar echchaoeun but also provided me with the cheapest available rate. Chefchaouen itself is a charming place with natural springs and a traditional way of life. Very pleased, great value and totally relaxing.

This is a great place to stay in Chefchaouen which itself is an incredible town and well worth a visit.

The hotel was close to town and the rooms were clean with great decor and facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had new years eve here and were made very welcome and had a great night.

Highly recommend this dar for accommodation in Chefchaouen

We chose this hotel because of the reviews, pictures and price, however, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The food was decent and the staff were generally helpful but the room was subpar and the bathroom let off a terrible smell that we were told was due to the construction going on next door. Whatever the cause, it made our stay very uncomfortable and I'm just grateful we only stayed the one night!

Also, Mohammed who works at the hotel is not the most trustworthy of people so if he offers to pick you up something or do you a favor I suggest you look for help elsewhere.

Hello,

Thank you for your stay and your comments, but normally once you have found a problem in your stay, you should first ask the reception or the administration to find you the solution and do not lie to the people, and try to be honest.
the construction that was next to us is beyond our responsibility.

Thank you,
