Christina's House was a welcome break from some of the more crowded hostels throughout Morocco. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms were large and had fresh towels daily. The breakfast was fantastic!! It was a full spread of bread, swedish pancakes, jams, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and freshly brewed COFFEE. By far one of the best breakfasts I had in Morocco. The location was perfect- a bit tucked away from the noise and business of the main streets, but just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The sea breeze cooled you down a little at night, too. The service was solid, though sometimes Christina was a bit cranky or rude. I would definitely suggest Christina's to anyone who wants a comfortable vacation.

Unlike other places owned by Moroccans, this place is insanely expensive, specially if you consider the quality and prices you can get at a hotel owned by locals. The location is awful.

The bedrooms barely worked (light, fan and window broken) and the kitchen was dirty. The owner had no idea how much money she was supposed to get from us but wasn't polite asking for it. While checking out, we asked the owner if she would be kind enough to keep our backpacks while we went for a walk, she told us to leave them in the public "kitchen". When we left she was amazingly rude because I hit a dirty kitchen curtain with my backpack. I offered to fix it, but she told me that "I wasn't going to".

DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Stayed at Christina's house this summer to take a break from our long RV trip and to celebrate the wife's bday in Assilah. Great place in the central part of town within a short walk of everything. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The house and staff are very welcoming. Great breakfast with fresh squeezed oj and fresh french press coffee with Moroccan breads and pastries, all served at the table. The terrace is great to relax and escape. Guarded parking a couple minutes away (3dh daytime, 5 dh overnight). All in all, we had a great time and will be back. Thank you Christina and Carin for your hospitality. 8o)

I stayed at Christina's House for a couple of nights this month while on a mini-break with my friends. Christina was very welcoming and the house was so lovely and well decorated- there's even a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast or some tea or coffee. Breakfast each morning was wonderful with pastries, bread, jams, tea and fresh orange juice and the location of the guesthouse was fantastic. As soon as you walk around the corner you're right along the medina and it's then only a 15 minute walk through the markets to get to the coast. The beds were very comfortable and Christina can answer any questions you have on what to visit/ how to get there. All in all, a lovely stay.

We arrived at Christina's house with the help of some lovely locals who knew exactly where it is. Don't let them convince you that it is far away, it is merely a short walk with lots to see along the way. The Guesthouse itself is beautiful, Christina and her daughter have done an absolutely fabulous job and kept it to it's traditional Moroccan style. The roof terrace is a sanctuary, enjoy a beer, tea or even a nap in the sheltered terrace lounge. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Bathrooms are plentiful and the kitchen is fully equipped if you feel like cooking up a storm. The breakfast provided is scrumptious, and at an appropriate time if you feel like a sleep in. Freshly squeezed orange juice, warm local oven baked bread, jams, eggs, COFFEE! It is all prepared with care and admiration to the local taste. Christina is the true gem of this house. She is wise and has lots of recommendations for local places to visit. Truly a wonderful spot in Morocco and couldn't more highly recommend making a stop over in Asilah to Christina's House. Thank you, and we will definitely be back!

I stayed at Christina's House for two nights in July. The location of the guest house is wonderful, just a five minute walk from the medina, off on a quiet street. Christina was very welcoming upon our arrival. Room was clean, shared bathroom small, but definitely great value for the money. We paid is euros and Dh, which seem to cause a bit of confusion for Christina, but other than that we had a wonderful stay.
Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, and try to eat up on the terrace if you can! Another person there complained about a cockroach, but I never saw one.
