My husband and I booked this tour from Eco Holidays via Get Your Guide, prior to leaving the UK and were not disappointed. We loved the Botanical Gardens and Port Louis was so colourful, despite a shower during the time we were there. The company were very accommodating as we had originally booked a Monday excursion (when apparently the shops are closed, but on this occasion, the Pope was also visiting that day) and the company changed our day without any issue. Thoroughly worth going to explore the market and shops in Port Louis and discover the history of the island. Don't expect a huge array of shops, but the harbour area is lovely and there are plenty of eateries to pick from for your lunch.

Both me and my husband had a great day on this tour and our tour guide Jimmy was fantastic. The sites we visited were all beautiful and picturesque. Jimmy did an excellent job of telling us about life in Mauritius and the history of the island, driving us to each location and he also guided us through the rum distillery. We booked through our Kuoni rep at our hotel and would definitely recommend booking this trip and asking if Jimmy was available due to the amazing service.

My husband and I did this tour yesterday, we had such a brilliant time.
We were picked up on time by our driver Sudesh. He was so lovely we stopped just up the road and he explained what we were doing for the day asked if we had any questions. Then we set off. The car was very clean and comfortable even by the end of the day.
Then Sudesh started telling us all the history of the island but he done it in such an interesting way headed it sound like an adventure story we were hooked.
All through the day we were kept interested and informed about every thing we see he was so knowledgeable.
The whole day flew past, lunch and the rum Tasting finished off our tour.
Then sadly before we knew it we were back at our hotel.
All I can say is if you get the chance definitely do this tour hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Sadesh as your driver.

Great tour! Our guide, Rajan, was outstanding, he was so knowledgeable and helpful. He picked us up at our hotel in the morning and informed us on everything about the tour and Mauritius, and he was able to answer all of our questions. Ok+ vehicle for a long drive. Great lunch. He guided us through 8 hours of sightseeing, helped us with taking photos and even drove us to a shop to get snorkeling equipment on our way back even though this isn’t in his job description. We highly recommend this tour! Pure service.

We were picked up by Ranjan in the morning and we set off for a great day. Our guide was so informative and helpful, he answered every question we had. The day is very full but you really get to see all the sites on the south side of island. We enjoyed every stop, my only recommendation would be swapping the day slightly to have lunch earlier. The rum stop right before lunch was hard to swallow.
