“Life saver against greedy Taaras Resort”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

We found this nice restaurant just outside the Taaras.
I was tired of the expensive soso food there and we decided to try Aima's.
Very tasty traditional Malay food, fresh fish (try the barbecue one with sambal and lime) and roti chennai made on the spot.
In four people difficult to spend more than 150 RM.
Azman is the owner and the cook. Ask his advice and you will be very happy.
He also organizes snorkeling trips at half price compared to the resort.
Great value for money.

“not sure if this is the restaurant”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

sounds about it, this restaurant was a really memorable one. bored of Berjaya Beach's (Now called Taaras) hotel food, we decided to venture out and stumbled upon this restaurant. we expected nothing spectacular but we were in for a surprise! we ordered scallops, they were huge and fresh + delicious! i remember a really friendly waitress serving us and the price was really cheap too. still remember it even though this was 2008

“A Must!”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

We really enjoyed eating in Aima.
This restaurant is located just outside Taaras Resort (in the resort, they charge ridiculous prices for their tasteless and small portioned dishes). On the contrary, Aima offers really reasonable prices for its delicious food. They also have a small shop from which you can buy drinks and snacks and other basic stuff.
Do not miss it!

“Great grilled fish & curry”
Reviewed October 17, 2011

We went there on one evening while staying in Redang Resort/The Taaras. We had chicken curry (7RM) and grilled fish (40 RM, ask for size of fishes in advance). Food was excellent, and at very reasonable prices (especially if compared to the resort). Can definitevely be recommended (along with other options such as Asmati Cafe in the village).
