“Great guides”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

The two Mulu National Park guides - Unti and Esther - who showed us around we're excellent. Well trained, informative, always aware of what is happening with their group, safety conscious and friendly. I recommend them highly should you be about to visit Mulu.

“Enjoyed the Millions of Bats stream out from the cave in long floating ribbons”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

Enjoyed the Millions of Bats stream out from the cave in long floating ribbons, and in various patterns. Quite a view. Worth paying a visit. Accomodation was good.

“Biggest caves ...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

The caves are interesting to visit alone by itself... Rainforest trails are all walk on wooden planks so can't wander off track. But even if you wanted to there's just no way because the jungle is so thick. For the hot and advance activity, such as adventure caving, pinnacles trail, summit trail etc, Book early before you depart your country or there's definitely a 90% chance you won't be able to get a spot.
Food there's expensive compared to other place in the country. Consider RM20 per meal with drinks. Electricity is limited, no power lines there, just generators so the guest house outside the park only fire them up after 5-11pm. Not sure about the Park chalets or resorts though. I forgot to ask.

“Jungle Wonderland Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

From the minute you disembark from the plane you are in a Jungle Wonderland. We stayed at the Mulu Resort and they were fantastic. The service was great. We encourage you to do the Caves visits and the Canopy walk, plus go to see the Bats fly at night. Watch out for the Fireflies - they are delightful flying around in the evenings. The jungle sounds are amazing and watch out for all the creatures when you are out walking - look around you and you will discover amazing sights.
