“Very good!”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

We had an awsome time here. Very well kept, you could feel like back in the day and reading the profiles from the past really made our day. We love history and this is a must see if you do too.

“A memorial visited”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

The memorial was nicely kept with things to remind us how the Allied prisoners were treated badly during the Japanese.

“Speechless”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

I'm not sure what to say about this attraction. It's serene, peaceful yet reminds us of the terrible conditions POWs had to endure by the British and Diggers of Australia.

I feel it could be better maintained as a lot of things seem to be falling into disrepair. The museum contains a lot of history and still includes some original relics.

Worth taking a few minutes out of your day to reflect on the horrors of WW2.

“A sobering visit.”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

This is a beautiful park setting created on the very site of the prisoner of war camp. The water lily pond was a calming introduction to the horrors that were depicted by pictures, a short movie and memorial plaques that these soldiers endured.

“Interesting”

Memorial park on the original site of a prisoner of war camp. The gardens are well kept and the museum is full of facts about the "Death March".
