This hotel is a lovely modern hotel planted in the middle of a working fishing town, its just in the wrong place! Notihng wrong with the hotel for those passing through, if you want to go to Sepilok to see the Orangutangs, continue on to the Turtle Islands or visit the Agnes Keith house and tea garden thats about it, a day at most would cover the area. The town is busy, nothing fancy, it has history from the wars but can be intimidating especially at night.
A typical 5 star Sheraton with excellent facilities, parking (to pay), pool, lovely restaurant which we used, infinity pool, business centre. There was a nice bar in the hotel with cigar lounge which was quite upmarket. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room overlooked the bay and was clean and modern. There is a shopping mall linked to the back of the hotel which has just opened and only half the shops are open. Wifi was available everywhere.
Again, a lovely hotel but there was not much to do in the area even with a car to travel around as we did.
