Uncle Lim's Kitchen is named under Uncle Lim-Pangkor Laut Resort's first employee on the island. He can still be seen occasionally at the back kitchen, supervising the eatery. I was told he still rows to Pangkor Main Island to get fresh supplies and to choose fresh sea products to bring back to the kitchen, which very much explains the scrumptiousness of the dishes! Staffs at the restaurant were more than friendly. On a simple joke, they even brought us desserts and fresh fruits after the meal!
The location of this restaurant is extraordinary too. It is build on top of a large rock (something like a small cliff), and its covered by a huge olden Chinese-umbrella, which adds to the unique ambience like no other ordinary Chinese restaurants. In addition, it is very near to the sea villas, with a link bridge connecting to it right above the waters, so patrons can take an easy stroll from the restaurant back to their villas after their luscious meals.
