Brought my family of 13 to the restaurant on the 1st night of our stay in PD and as it was close to the hotel we stayed in, it was both convenient and sufficient in taste. The food came fairly quick and we gobbled everything up and left the plates squeaky clean as well after 30 minutes :) The fried cuttlefish is worth ordering but I did not think the otak-otak dish was fantastic at all but we still finished it anyway :) The fish was done well and overall it is a spot to eat if you don't know where else to go to ;) We did not try the satay as they only arrived when we were leaving but we shall leave that for another day. Happy eating!

This seafood place had a lot of good reviews about it and when we checked it out a few months ago, we were not disappointed.

The food was tasty, service was fast and the price was very reasonable.

But sadly after our last visit yesterday, we decided that we will never go to the restaurant again.

Driving from KL, we arrived for lunch just slightly after 2 pm. Service was fast but the teochew asam steam fish was tasteless although the fish tasted fresh. The chili crab was not nice...the sauce was very sweet and the dish too expensive (RM 30 each crab).

And the lady owner made it very clear that lunch after 2pm is not quite welcomed. She was dying to close the restaurant and it was an uncomfortable experience rushing through the meal.

And worse of all, when it was time to pay, we wanted to pay with our credit card due to the unexpected expensive bill. But the staff couldn't accept it because she didn't know how to use the card machine. Only the lady owner knows it and she was long gone.

Our theory was that after years of good business, success has gotten to the owner's head.

Bad cook, poor customer service and ridiculously high prices.

We think the owner has lost the plot.

Next time we'll visit that seafood place across the big temple again. Ambience a bit gloomy but the food and prices are great.

I was staying in The guest hotel and spa in lukut, thats 26k away from here, however it was indeed worth the drive for their nestum prawns and salted egg crab. tried looking for number 3 on the list for seafood but its nowhere to be found. 2 crabs, 200gram prawn, hokkien noodle, sweet potato leaves, fish, and lala for 2 person RM 130+. Want any cheaper, head down to Sabah and Sarawak!

Nothing great and food is average. We waited for almost an hour for our food to arrive. Give this place a miss.
