From reading a previous review, decided to book the grand pool villa for a stay with my family. It was a smooth drive from Singapore to Port Dickson following the GPS. Just before reaching the resort, we passed by rows of local shops and a small building that houses a supermarket and food outlets. Check in was smooth. Was told that we should take a buggy to the villa so we waited outside the lobby. However, found that there was no queue system and you just have to catch the attention of the buggy driver if you see one coming along.
Upon first stepping into the room, was wowed by the spaciousness with 2 king size beds and especially the private swimming pool. The pool had a partial sea view. My teenagers had a superb time playing in the pool. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave oven and also a stationary exercise bike in the room. Took a walk around the resort and found that it was well kept. Buffet breakfast was ok, nothing fantastic. Overall, my family agreed that it was a nice place to relax and enjoy the pool but expensive rates are a deterrent factor :).More
